- Diagnose and manage kidney-related diseases, including CKD, AKI, nephrotic syndrome, and electrolyte disorders.
- Evaluate and treat patients with hypertension and renal complications.
- Manage patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
- Assess and manage pre- and post-renal transplant patients.
- Interpret renal function tests, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
- Perform or supervise procedures such as kidney biopsy and dialysis catheter-related care.
- Develop individualized treatment and long-term renal care plans.
- Handle emergency nephrology cases and provide inpatient/outpatient consultations.
- Coordinate with urologists, intensivists, cardiologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- DM/DNB in Nephrology from a recognized institution.
- Valid Medical Council/NMC registration.
- 15+ years of experience in Nephrology preferred.
- Expertise in dialysis, CKD, AKI, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and renal emergencies.
- Experience in managing ICU/critical nephrology cases and renal transplant patients preferred.
- Robust clinical decision-making and patient-management skills.
- Good communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates with relevant hospital/clinical experience will be
