Plan daily and weekly purchase requirements based on production, sales, and stock requirements.
Purchase bakery and sweets raw materials such as flour, sugar, milk products, fats, dry fruits, nuts, chocolates, flavours, ingredients, etc.
Procure packaging materials including boxes, covers, labels, trays, containers, tapes, and other packing requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers.
Obtain quotations and compare prices, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and favourable commercial terms.
Prepare Purchase Orders and ensure proper approval and documentation.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate closely with Production, Stores, Quality, Sales, Accounts, and Management.
Monitor stock levels and avoid both material shortages and unnecessary excess inventory.
Check incoming material quantity and coordinate with Stores/Quality teams regarding quality issues.




Handle supplier complaints, shortages, damages, rejected materials, and replacement requirements.
Monitor market prices and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Maintain updated supplier lists, price lists, quotations, purchase orders, and purchase records.
Develop alternate suppliers for critical raw materials to avoid supply interruptions.
Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, delivery, and service.
Verify purchase invoices and coordinate with Accounts for payment-related issues.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly purchase and cost reports for management.
Ensure all purchases follow company policies, approved rates, and authorization procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of supplier pricing and company commercial information
