Qualification: ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Industry Preference: Steel Plant / Captive Power Plant / Thermal Power Plant
Job Purpose
To carry out installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment for the CPP Project while ensuring safety, quality and timely execution.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Install HT/LT cables, cable trays and cable glands.
- Carry out cable termination and jointing.
- Install MCC, PCC panels, motors and lighting systems.
- Assist in transformer and switchgear installation.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Conduct insulation resistance and continuity tests.
- Support testing and commissioning activities.
- Follow LOTO, PPE and electrical safety procedures.
- Maintain tools, records and housekeeping.
- Coordinate with engineers and supervisors.
