About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer - II (Frontend) at MakeMyTrip, you will take ownership of building and evolving scalable, high-performance frontend experiences that serve millions of travellers. You will work on complex user-facing applications, translating business and product requirements into robust technical solutions while driving engineering quality across the development lifecycle.

In this role, you will be expected to go beyond feature delivery by contributing to technical design, improving frontend architecture, identifying performance and scalability opportunities, and influencing engineering best practices. You will collaborate closely with product, design, business, and engineering teams,



mentor fellow engineers through reviews and technical guidance, and help shape a reliable and future-ready frontend ecosystem at MMT.

What will you be doing:

- Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using React.js and Redux, ensuring optimal speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with business teams to define requirements and deliver on-time product solutions.
- Write clean, productive, and maintainable code while performing code reviews and troubleshooting issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, optimizing UI/UX designs for feasibility and performance.
- Own and manage technical aspects of web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless deployment and functionality.

Qualifications & Experience:

- BE/BTech in Computer Science from a premier institute.
- 4-6 years of experience with high scale tech-product companies.
- Expertise in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and modern frameworks (React.js, Redux).
- Proficiency in Webpack, Jest, and CI/CD pipelines; TypeScript experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, RESTful APIs, browser rendering, and performance.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and excellent problem-solving skills.
