Job Summary

Weare seeking a Denodo Developer to design, build, and optimize datavirtualization solutions that deliver fast, seamless, and secure access toenterprise data. This role will create highperformance views and semanticlayers while collaborating with crossfunctional teams to support scalableanalytics and business insights

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, andmaintain Denodo base views, derived views, and integration layers.
- Design and implementsemantic layers and business-friendly virtual datasets.
- Optimize Denodo solutionsfor performance, including caching, query acceleration, and data retrievalstrategies.
- Write and optimize complexSQL queries across multiple heterogeneous data sources.
- Implement datavirtualization best practices to ensure data quality, consistency, andreusability.
- Troubleshoot and resolveperformance issues related to data sources, query execution, caching, andview design.
- Work closely with dataengineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders to understand and translatedata requirements.
- Participate in releasemanagement, versioning, promotions, and CI/CD integrations for Denodoprojects.
- Utilize and support DenodoScheduler for job execution and dependency handling.
- Work with Denodo DataCatalog for metadata management and data discovery.
- Monitor platform health andperformance using Denodo monitoring and administration tools.

Core Competencies

- Understanding of Snowflake architecture, SQL optimization, and data modelingtechniques.
- Accuracy in data handling, coding, and documentation
- Comfortable working in agile environments and adapting to evolvingtechnologies and business needs
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely tonon-technical audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functionalteams, including data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders.




- Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions indata workflows and pipelines.
- Ability to analyze complex data problems and develop efficient, scalablesolutions

Required Qualifications

- 58 years of professional experience working specifically as aDenodo Developer (not architect or support).
- Strong expertise in Denodo VDP, view development, semantic layermodeling, and data abstraction.
- Excellent SQL skills, including handling complex joins, transformations,and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience integrating Denodo with relationaldatabases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and cloudplatforms.
- Basic understanding of security and governance features in Denodo,including roles, users, data masking, and policies
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Professional Denodo certifications (e.g., Denodo DeveloperAssociate / Professional) are a strong plus.
- Exposure to Denodo Scheduler, Data Catalog, andmonitoring/administration features.
- Experience with enterprise data governance and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience supporting BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI,Tableau) through Denodo.
