Senior Infrastructure Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid cloud, and public cloud environments. The role will provide technical leadership for infrastructure modernization, data center transformation, cloud adoption, security, resilience, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise infrastructure architectures across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
- Develop scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure solutions using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Design and support containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Define modern data center networking and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) architectures.
- Evaluate infrastructure requirements related to compute, networking, storage, backup, replication, and disaster recovery.
- Drive data center modernization, technology refresh, migration, consolidation, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- Establish infrastructure monitoring, observability, capacity planning, performance optimization, and availability strategies.
- Incorporate security best practices, Zero Trust principles, compliance requirements, and infrastructure governance into architecture designs.
- Create and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), architecture diagrams, technical standards, and infrastructure documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to infrastructure engineering teams and mentor junior architects/engineers.
- Collaborate with network, security, cloud, application, operations,



and business stakeholders to define and deliver infrastructure solutions.
- Participate in technical reviews, architecture governance, troubleshooting, risk assessment, and technology evaluations.
- Work within ITIL-based enterprise operational environments, supporting incident, change, problem, and service management processes.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture.
- Hands-on exposure to on-premises and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of SDN and modern data center networking concepts.
- Understanding of enterprise storage, backup, replication, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, observability, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, infrastructure security, compliance, and governance.
- Experience with data center modernization and migration/consolidation programs.
- Robust experience preparing HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, and technical standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise IT operations.

Preferred Profile

- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or global infrastructure environments.
- Exposure to infrastructure automation, IaC, and modern cloud-native technologies.
- Experience leading architecture reviews and working with multiple technical teams.
- Strong understanding of high availability, scalability, resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
