Roles & Responsibilities SCM, Sourcing & Vendor Development

- Identify, evaluate, and develop potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and technical capabilities.
- Drive supplier sourcing and development initiatives to ensure timely availability of materials and components as per business requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment terms, lead time, and supply agreements with suppliers to achieve cost and value optimization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and strategic suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, localization, alternate sourcing, and supplier consolidation.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, and other cross-functional teams to understand material specifications and sourcing requirements.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, cost, and process standards.
- Monitor and improve supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness,



and capacity.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain and supplier-related risks, including capacity constraints, material shortages, and market fluctuations.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and commodity movements to identify sourcing opportunities and potential risks.
- Support new product development and current supplier onboarding, including RFQ, quotation analysis, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
- Manage the RFQ/RFP process, evaluate supplier quotations, and prepare comparative statements for supplier selection.
- Ensure suppliers meet organizational requirements related to quality, compliance, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement, sourcing, and supply chain challenges and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Maintain appropriate supplier documentation, sourcing records, commercial data, and vendor performance reports.
