Job Summary

DG FutureTech is looking for an experienced Full Stack Tech Lead with 10+ years of software engineering experience to lead the design and development of scalable enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot and ReactJS, along with experience in REST API design, Oracle or other relational databases, application architecture, CI/CD, cloud environments, and containerized deployments. This is a hands-on Tech Lead role involving both software development and technical leadership. You will own full-stack delivery while leading and mentoring a team of approximately 35 engineers. Experience working with payment platforms, fintech, banking, or similarly regulated systems will be highly valued.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend business logic using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Build responsive and dynamic frontend applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Own scalable, secure, and maintainable frontend and backend architecture.
- Design database schemas and optimize SQL queries and Oracle database performance.
- Design, consume, and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Develop asynchronous processing, batch jobs, retry mechanisms, and reliable background workflows.
- Perform code reviews and establish coding and engineering standards.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and frontend automated tests.
- Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and containerized deployments.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver features.
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation.
- Lead a team
- Assign and review technical work and provide structured feedback.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.




- Represent the development team in architecture, design, planning, and incident discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

Backend

- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on Java development experience.
- Deep understanding of Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Experience designing enterprise-grade application architecture.
- Strong experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of HTTP and API design principles.
- Experience with asynchronous processing and background workflows.
- Experience with batch processing and retry mechanisms.

Frontend

- Strong hands-on ReactJS experience.
- Modern JavaScript / ES6+.
- HTML5 and CSS3.
- SCSS / LESS.
- Responsive web application development.
- Experience with frameworks such as Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with Webpack, Babel, npm, or yarn.

Database

- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Oracle or other enterprise relational databases.
- Database schema design.
- SQL query optimization and performance tuning.

Cloud / DevOps

- Exposure to AWS, including services such as ECS and S3.
- CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Containerized deployment experience.
- Git-based development workflows.
- Understanding of cloud-native deployment practices.

Testing

Experience with one or more of:

- JUnit
- Mockito
- Jest
- Cypress
- React Testing Library

Leadership Requirements

- Previous experience as a Tech Lead or equivalent technical leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring software engineers.




- Experience managing the technical delivery of a team of approximately 35 members.
- Strong code-review and technical-design skills.
- Ability to break complex requirements into actionable engineering work.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and improve overall team capability.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

- Experience in payments, fintech, banking, or regulated systems.
- Knowledge of checkout, tokenization, 3-D Secure, settlement, or similar payment workflows.
- TypeScript.

- JDBC-based data access.
- Multi-module Maven builds.
- Playwright.
- Jenkins.
- AWS S3 / CloudFront.
- Figma or similar design tools.
- AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms.
- Japanese language proficiency.
- Experience working with distributed or multicultural teams.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
