Overview: The Senior Embryologist is responsible for independently managing and overseeing advanced assisted reproductive technology (ART) laboratory procedures including IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, cryopreservation, embryo biopsy, and related reproductive laboratory services. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, implementation of quality assurance protocols, maintenance of optimal laboratory conditions, and delivery of safe, ethical, and evidence-based embryology services.

Key Responsibilities Tasks

1. Perform and oversee all embryology lab procedures including IVF, ICSI, embryo culture and cryopreservation, assisted hatching, Embryo biopsy and Preimplantation genetic testing

2. Ensure meticulous quality control of embryology lab and equipment to maintain a sterile, optimal culture environment

3. Data management and compliance with regulatory standards

4. Knowledge of recent advancements and best practices in reproductive medicine

Qualifications and Experience





- Postgraduate in clinical embryology/ MBBS or BVSc graduate with a post- graduate degree in clinical embryology / Postgraduate in life science or biotechnology
- 8-10 years of progressive hands-on experience in recognized ART level 2 centre and have performed at least 500 IVF lab procedures including ICSI and 100 cryopreservation cycles.
