V&V; Lead / QA Coordinator
Department: Quality Assurance / Program Management
Reporting To: Program Manager
Location: PAN India
Position Summary
The V&V; Lead / QA Coordinator is responsible for leading the Verification & Validation (V&V;) process across all assigned projects. The role serves as the single point of accountability for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and closing end to end V&V; activities to ensure that the delivered solution fully complies with contractual specifications, approved Bill of Quantities (BOQ), designs, and customer requirements.
The incumbent will manage the end-to-end V&V; Register, coordinate cross-functional technical teams, validate installation quality, identify deviations, and issue the final Verification & Validation Completion Certificate.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Verification & Validation (V&V;) Management
- Own and manage the complete V&V; lifecycle across all project locations.
- Maintain the master V&V; Register covering all project deliverables.
- Ensure every verification activity is documented, validated, and approved.
- Monitor completion status against project milestones.
- Ensure all V&V; activities comply with project quality standards and contractual obligations.
2. QA Coordination
- Coordinate activities of all Verification & Validation Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Allocate verification assignments and monitor progress.
- Conduct periodic review meetings with technical teams.
- Resolve technical issues affecting V&V; completion.
- Ensure consistency in inspection methodology across locations.
3. BOQ & As-Built Verification
- Validate delivered materials against:
- Approved BOQ
- Technical Specifications
- Approved Drawings
- Purchase Orders
- Vendor Deliverables
- Verify quantities, make, model, specifications, and installation quality.
- Identify discrepancies between BOQ commitments and actual site execution.
- Ensure all deviations are properly documented.
4. Site Inspection & Quality Audits
- Conduct physical verification of installed systems.
- Verify installation quality against engineering standards.
- Perform random and planned quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with customer acceptance criteria.
- Validate completion of punch points before project closure.

Documentation Management
- Maintain complete V&V; documentation including:
- V&V; Register
- Inspection Checklists
- Site Verification Reports
- Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Deviation Logs
- Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
- Final Acceptance Documentation
- Ensure documentation is audit-ready at all times.
6. Risk & Issue Management
- Identify quality risks during project execution.
- Escalate critical deviations affecting project acceptance.
- Track corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure timely closure of all quality observations.
- Maintain project risk and issue registers related to V&V.;
7. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with:
- Program Manager
- Project Managers
- Engineering Teams
- Site Execution Teams
- QA/QC Teams
- Customer Representatives
- Vendors
- Facilitate joint inspections and customer walkthroughs.
- Coordinate final acceptance inspections.
8. Reporting & Governance
- Prepare weekly and monthly V&V; progress reports.
- Track completion percentage across all locations.
- Present quality dashboards to management.
- Provide status updates on outstanding observations.
- Maintain project governance documentation.
9. Non-Conformance Management
- Record all deviations from approved specifications.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Coordinate root cause analysis.
- Verify implementation of corrective actions.
- Close NCRs after successful re-verification.
10. Project Close-Out
- Ensure all verification activities are completed.
- Validate closure of pending observations.
- Consolidate all V&V; reports.
- Issue the Final V&V; Completion Certificate.
- Support customer acceptance and project handover.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Quality Management or Project Management is desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Commissioning, Verification & Validation, or Infrastructure Project Delivery.
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure, industrial automation, building management systems, or integrated technology projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience managing structured verification registers containing 300+ deliverables.
- Experience in customer acceptance testing and project close-out activities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience auditing vendor BOQs against actual site execution.
- Exposure to Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, ABB, or similar integrated systems projects.
- Knowledge of QA/QC methodologies for EPC, industrial automation, or smart infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on airports, data centres, smart buildings, industrial plants, or large infrastructure programs.
