- Lead the corporate governance agenda on the Company, ensuring that the firm is in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements; assist the Board of Directors in the proper governance of the company and help to safeguard the companys legal and reputational interests on site
- Provide transaction support to the business in respect of corporate actions, shareholder meetings, and mergers and acquisitions
- Conduct regular assurance checks of compliance with the various obligations of the Group, maintaining supporting evidence and documentation, and providing assurances as to compliance standards
- Administer the annual board training plan, including the development of induction programs
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of all aspects of company secretarial practice, corporate governance, company law and internal policies that influence and lead the company secretarial team to meet deliverables and drive recent initiatives
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, Board members and Committee Chairs to resolve issues and maximize their individual contributions to the board
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of company secretarial experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
