Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) Functional Consultant with strong experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP VIM solutions integrated with SAP ECC/S/4HANA. The candidate should have good knowledge of the Accounts Payable (AP) invoice processing lifecycle and VIM workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and configure OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into VIM functional solutions.
- Configure VIM workflows, invoice processing, approval workflows, and exception handling.
- Work on invoice capture, validation, indexing, coding, and posting processes.
- Configure VIM for PO and Non-PO invoices.
- Work on integration between SAP VIM, SAP FI/MM, and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
- Configure business rules, approval matrices, and invoice routing.
- Handle invoice exceptions, parked invoices, blocked invoices, and workflow-related issues.




- Work closely with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, forms, workflows, and custom developments.
- Prepare functional specifications and support testing activities including SIT/UAT.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot VIM-related functional issues.
- Coordinate with business users and stakeholders for requirement gathering and issue resolution.
- Support VIM upgrades, enhancements, and migration activities where required.

Mandatory Skills

- Robust hands-on experience in SAP VIM / OpenText VIM.
- Good knowledge of SAP FI Accounts Payable processes.
- Experience with PO and Non-PO invoice processing.
- Strong understanding of VIM workflow and approval processes.
- Experience in VIM configuration and business rules.
- Integration knowledge with SAP MM and SAP FI.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Good understanding of invoice lifecycle and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with OpenText ICC (Invoice Capture Center).
- Knowledge of OCR-based invoice processing.
- Experience with VIM migration from ECC to S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP Workflow.
- Exposure to VIM upgrades and implementation projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori / VIM Web Portal.
- Experience working in AMS/support as well as implementation projects.
