Role & responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with project timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Prepare procurement plans and schedules for construction materials, equipment, services, and subcontracting requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, and prepare comparative statements.
- Lead negotiations along with other senior members with vendors to achieve optimum pricing, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved procurement policies and procedures.
- Coordinate closely with the Project, Engineering, Finance, and Stores teams to understand material and service requirements.
- Monitor procurement status and ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
- Maintain vendor relationships and periodically evaluate vendor performance.
- Ensure cost optimization while maintaining required quality standards and specifications.




- Assist in preparing and monitoring procurement budgets and expenditure.
- Ensure proper documentation, approvals, contracts, purchase orders, and procurement records.
- Monitor market trends, material prices, and supply-chain risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable statutory regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in steel structure is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP requirements, finishing materials, and project procurement processes.
- Proven experience in vendor development, contract negotiations, and cost optimization.
- Solid techno-commercial evaluation and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of purchase orders, contracts, payment terms, and supply-chain management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems.
