- Drive the strategy, planning, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all production and packaging equipment, including FBD, RMG, compression, coating, blister packing, capsule filling, serialization, and associated systems, ensuring high equipment reliability, availability, and optimal plant uptime.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical plant utilities and HVAC systems, including purified water systems, chillers, AHUs, compressors, cooling towers, generators, transformers, and related infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted and compliant manufacturing operations.
- Drive engineering compliance within the Quality Management System (QMS), including effective management of Change Controls, Deviations, CAPA, investigations, and engineering-related audit and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely closure and sustained compliance.
- Lead engineering and capital projects from concept and planning through execution, installation, commissioning, qualification/validation, and final documentation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, safety requirements, and GMP expectations.




- Develop and implement engineering strategies focused on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, energy efficiency, cost optimization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, establishing clear objectives, accountability, technical capability, and a culture of safety, compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Validation, EHS, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth, effective, and compliant plant operations.
- Identify opportunities for automation, technology adoption, energy conservation, and process improvements to enhance plant performance while optimizing engineering and maintenance costs.
- Establish and monitor key engineering KPIs, including equipment availability, breakdowns, preventive maintenance compliance, utility performance, project delivery, energy consumption, and maintenance cost.
