Job Summary

The IT team is responsible for managing and maintaining key business applications that support Redington's operations and digital transformation initiatives. The team manages enterprise platforms including Darwinbox, SAP, MuleSoft, Anaplan, Ceridian, and other business applications. The team works closely with business and IT stakeholders to develop, enhance, integrate, and maintain scalable technology solutions that support efficient operations and business growth.

Responsibilities

- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications and user-friendly interfaces aligned with business requirements.
- React.js Development: Develop dynamic, interactive, and reusable user interface components using React.js to deliver responsive and seamless user experiences.
- State Management: Implement productive state management solutions using Redux, Context API, or other relevant frameworks to ensure smooth data flow and application performance.
- JavaScript Development: Develop and maintain dynamic and interactive web functionality using JavaScript while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
- HTML CSS Development: Build semantic and accessible HTML5 pages and design responsive layouts using CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and other modern web technologies.
- UI Enhancement: Implement animations, transitions, and other interactive elements to enhance application usability and user experience.
- jQuery DOM Manipulation: Utilize jQuery for DOM manipulation, event handling, and integration of relevant plugins where required.
- API Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs and effectively handle JSON data to enable seamless data retrieval, submission, and application functionality.
- SQL Data Management: Write and understand SQL queries to retrieve and manage data required for application functionality and integration.
- Solution Design:



Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand requirements and contribute to application design, technical specifications, system design, and integration solutions.
- Testing Quality Assurance: Perform unit and system testing, support functional testing, and ensure appropriate testing is completed before deployment of new functionality or change requests.
- Bug Fixes Enhancements: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues while continuously improving application performance, usability, and stability.
- Change Management: Ensure all application changes, enhancements, and releases follow established change management processes and are appropriately tracked.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for system designs, technical specifications, testing, bug fixes, enhancements, and outstanding issues.
- Tools Processes: Work with internal IT processes and ticketing/project management tools such as Redserve, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users, back-end developers, database teams, and other technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business requirements and user expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve application performance, development processes, internal IT tools, and overall operational efficiency.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. MCA is also preferred.

Experience:



1 to 3 years of experience in Full Stack Development or Web Application Development. Strong hands-on experience in React.js and JavaScript. Experience in developing responsive web applications using HTML5 and CSS3. Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON-based integrations. Proficiency in SQL and database querying. Exposure to jQuery, state management tools such as Redux or Context API, and modern web development practices. Experience with application testing, debugging, bug fixing, and release management. Exposure to ticketing and project management tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar platforms. Experience working with multiple stakeholders or business users is preferred.
