GCP DevOps Engineer 6+ Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms on Google Cloud. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, automation, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage production-grade infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Cloud Build, or similar tools.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Manage GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, Load Balancing, Artifact Registry, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Implement and maintain cloud security, IAM, networking, and access controls.
- Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.




- Develop automation scripts using Bash/Shell scripting and configuration-management tools such as Ansible.
- Work closely with development, QA, security, and architecture teams to improve deployment reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident management and root-cause analysis.
- Implement best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and cost optimization.

6+ years of overall experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering, with strong hands-on experience in GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and automation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
