Role : Data Scientist

Location: Remote.

Work Model: Offshore delivery with overlap to US time zone as needed

Position Summary

The Data Scientist will support analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making for the REI account. This role will work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, build models, and deliver insights that improve operations, customer experience, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify analytics opportunities and define problem statements.
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Build predictive and prescriptive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights.
- Validate models, monitor performance, and iterate based on feedback.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, results, and recommendations.
- Support data governance, data quality, and security requirements.





Required Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles.
- Solid proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Strong statistical analysis, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Experience working in an offshore delivery model with US stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industries.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
- Advanced degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, or related field.
