Role & responsibilities

The person will be responsible for assisting with setup, calibration, and maintenance of smart factory robotics and other robotics lab equipment. Duties include supporting lab experiments and demonstrations, organizing equipment inventories, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and helping faculty, staff, and students operate and troubleshoot robotic hardware such as industrial robot arms, sensors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Main Responsibilities

- Set up, calibrate, and maintain robotics and automation equipment.
- Support experiments, demonstrations, and training sessions in smart factory environments.
- Troubleshoot and repair robotic and automation systems, documenting results and maintenance activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized laboratory.
- Assist with inventory management and procurement of lab supplies and components.

Qualifications

- Diploma/degree in mechanical, robotics, automation, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, PLCs, sensors, and robotic systems.
