Position: Banquet Sales Manager

Job Purpose

To maximize banquet and event revenue by generating business, managing client relationships, converting enquiries, and ensuring successful execution of events in coordination with the hotel operations team.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive banquet sales and achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Generate business from corporate clients, wedding planners, event agencies, social events.
- Handle banquet enquiries from initial enquiry through conversion and event completion.
- Conduct venue visits and presentations for prospective clients.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, event packages, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate rates and terms within approved guidelines to maximize revenue.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding planners, and agencies.
- Conduct regular sales calls and client meetings to generate new business.




- Maintain an updated banquet enquiry and sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with Banquets, F&B;, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments for event requirements.
- Conduct pre-event meetings and ensure client requirements are clearly communicated to operations.
- Follow up on payments, contracts, deposits, and outstanding balances.
- Monitor competitor activities, banquet pricing, packages, and market trends.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Prepare regular banquet sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
