Java Developer | AI & Prompt Engineering

Employment Type: Full-Time / 4-6 months Contract (Both)

About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong Java Developer with solid experience in backend development and a good understanding of AI tools and Prompt Engineering.

The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, be comfortable working on real-world backend applications, and be confident in communicating technical concepts clearly.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and Microservices.
- Work with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.
- Work with messaging/event-driven technologies such as Kafka.
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
- Understand existing code, troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use AI tools effectively for coding, debugging, documentation, testing and productivity.
- Apply Prompt Engineering techniques to get effective results from AI tools.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews and solution design.
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate technical requirements clearly.
- Follow coding standards, development processes and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Core Java
- Spring / Spring Boot




- Microservices
- JPA / Hibernate
- REST APIs
- SQL / Relational Databases
- Kafka or similar messaging technology
- Good understanding of OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading and Java fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools
- Good understanding of Prompt Engineering

Communication & Skilled Skills

- Good English communication skills
- Confident in explaining technical concepts and project work
- Ability to understand requirements and communicate solutions effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is not only strong technically but can also understand the how, why and what” behind their code and solutions. Candidates should be able to explain their projects, technical decisions and approaches confidently during the interview.
