The Legal Shared Services Administrative Support is responsible for managing the intake, review, organization, and maintenance of legal and claim-related documents to support efficient case handling. This role supports attorneys, paralegals, and administrative teams through document indexing, file management, data entry, correspondence processing, and case information updates within TeamConnect and other case management systems. The position requires solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow established procedures while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role also provides opportunities to develop broader case support and administrative capabilities, creating potential pathways for future career growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Mail intake, scanning, indexing, and document organization.
- Uploading documents to TeamConnect or case management systems.
- File creation and maintenance.
- Monitoring shared mailboxes.
- Data entry and case information updates.
- Scheduling simple appointments.
- Processing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintaining electronic and physical records.
- Assisting attorneys and paralegals with administrative requests.
- Following established procedures with close supervision.
- Participate in training and development activities that build capabilities for future administrative and case support responsibilities.
Education
Bachelors degree (minimum 3 years) from a recognized university or LLB (Preferred)
Experience
2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job does not have supervisory duties.
Education Experience (in lieu)
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
