Rain Group International Tax department is seeking a full-time employee in direct taxes profile. The position requires a high level of interaction with employees throughout the organization, including the treasury, accounting, finance, business operations, and legal departments. This individual will also work closely with other internal and external tax professionals on many projects. The ability to multi- task and work on a wide variety of compliance, controversy, and planning projects is key to the success of the position.
The Candidate should posses working knowledge of direct taxes. He/ she should have knowledge of international tax laws, transfer pricing and tax accounting.
The Candidate will not just be involved in Indian Direct Taxes related work but will also be actively involved in handling other jurisdictions such as Canada, Belgium and USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all direct tax related matters of allocated jurisdictions
- Manage current compliance requirement, income tax assessment and litigation support
- Liaison with external tax consultants
- Responsible for computing current taxes, deferred taxes on monthly/quarterly/ yearly basis and own tax GLs
- Preparation/ review and filing of various returns and forms
- Maintain tax information and records
- Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations and prepare technical reports on how they impact the organization's operations
- Prepare & maintain TP documentation as per local laws
C. Person Profile:
Required qualification:
- Qualified CA
- Tax Knowledge and interest to learn taxes
- Team player and possess excellent communication skills.
