We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Senior Analyst with 0-2 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Alternative Investment Fund Accounting, or Financial Services to support the accounting and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain fund books and records for private equity funds.
- Calculate and reconcile Net Asset Value (NAV) in accordance with client requirements and accounting standards.
- Record investment transactions, including purchases, sales, capital calls, distributions, and other fund activities.
- Prepare investor capital account statements and partner allocations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Perform bank, cash, and investment reconciliations.
- Review and process capital call and distribution notices.
- Support audit requests by providing required documentation and responding to auditor queries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and client-specific procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant. (CA Qualification is mandatory)
- 0-2 years of experience in Financial Reporting or Alternative Investment Fund Accounting.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
