Job Purpose
To lead the Control & Instrumentation function of the Captive Power Plant by ensuring reliable operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and optimization of instrumentation, automation and control systems for uninterrupted power generation.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead preventive,
predictive and breakdown maintenance of C&I; systems.
- Maintain DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI and field instruments.
- Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters.
- Maintain control valves, actuators and analyzers.
- Support boiler and turbine instrumentation.
- Carry out loop checking and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate shutdowns and commissioning.
- Maintain calibration records and PM history.
- Supervise C&I; engineers, technicians and contractors.
- Ensure safety, statutory and ISO compliance.
