About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Project Manager Residential Interiors to manage and supervise residential interior projects from execution through final handover.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of interior site execution, excellent coordination and communication skills, and the ability to manage clients, installation teams, vendors, and subcontractors while ensuring timely completion and quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage residential interior projects from site initiation to final handover.
- Study and understand work orders, drawings, BOQs, measurements, and project specifications.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day site activities.
- Conduct and verify site measurements before execution and installation.
- Coordinate electrical, plumbing, civil, carpentry, painting, and other interior works.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, production, logistics, installation teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Supervise installation teams and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor manpower, materials, site requirements, and project progress.
- Verify materials received at site against work orders and material checklists.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues and execution challenges promptly.
- Prepare and maintain project progress reports, site updates, and schedules.
- Ensure projects are completed within the planned timelines.
- Maintain effective client relationships and provide regular project updates.




- Coordinate snag rectification and ensure all pending works are closed before handover.
- Support part-payment and final-payment collection as per project milestones.
- Ensure smooth project handover and obtain customer feedback.

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of residential interior execution and site management.
- Good understanding of interior drawings, measurements, BOQs, and installation processes.
- Strong team coordination and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Good vendor and subcontractor coordination skills.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Good task and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects/sites simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and project documentation.
- AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

- 25 years of experience in residential interiors, modular furniture, interior fit-outs, or construction project execution.
- Hands-on experience in residential interior site execution will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in modular kitchen, wardrobe, furniture installation, civil, electrical, and plumbing coordination will have an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel between project sites across Chennai.

- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence – Mandatory.
