- Communicate with patients to coordinate home sample collection.
- Visit patients' homes to collect samples according to scheduled appointments.
- Collect samples and perform rapid testing when required.
- Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and SOPs.
- Accurately identify patients and verify identity documents.
- Perform venipuncture or finger-stick procedures.
- Use correct testing equipment to analyze samples.
- Label vials accurately and match specimens with patient records.
- Prepare and package specimens for safe transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data and test results.
- Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper tagging and documentation.
- Follow biohazard safety and biomedical waste management protocols.
Job Requirements :
- Experience: 1 to 10 years in phlebotomy or related functions.
- Skills: Blood collection and sample handling, understanding of diagnostic protocols, knowledge of biomedical waste management, empathy, professionalism, basic computer operations, and positive communication skills.
- Education: DMLT / BMLT. Other Requirements: Two-wheeler, valid DL/LL, willingness to travel, customer-first mindset, and a proactive approach.
