About the Role
Masters Union is looking for a dynamic and robotics-focused professional to help build and launch its new Undergraduate programme in Robotics & AI.
The role will be responsible for shaping an industry-relevant curriculum, building relationships with robotics and technology organisations, and supporting the go-to-market of the programme. You will work closely with faculty, industry leaders, robotics companies, startups, researchers, and internal teams to create a differentiated learning experience for students.
This role combines domain expertise, curriculum development, industry partnerships, and programme building, making it ideal for someone who understands the robotics ecosystem and is excited about building the next generation of robotics talent.
Specifically, this role will involve:
- Research and identify emerging trends, technologies, and career opportunities across Robotics, AI, Automation, and Mechatronics.
- Work with faculty and industry experts to identify and develop relevant courses, projects, labs, and experiential learning opportunities.
- Build relationships with robotics companies, startups, research organisations, and industry practitioners for knowledge partnerships, industry immersions, and capstone projects.
- Identify and engage relevant robotics and technology leaders who can contribute to the programme through talks, workshops, projects, and mentorship.
- Support the go-to-market and positioning of the Robotics & AI programme in collaboration with the Marketing and Admissions teams.
- Identify relevant robotics, AI, engineering, and technology events and explore opportunities for Masters Union to participate, partner, or engage.
- Build and maintain a strong network across the Robotics & AI ecosystem.
- Represent Masters’ Union at relevant industry events, conferences, competitions, hackathons, and ecosystem forums.
- Develop innovative initiatives that strengthen industry engagement and student exposure to the robotics ecosystem.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 2–5 years of experience in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, AI/ML, or a closely related field, OR a degree with a major/minor in Robotics or Mechatronics.
- Strong understanding of the Robotics & AI ecosystem and genuine passion for robotics and emerging technologies.
- Exposure to areas such as robotics systems, computer vision, embedded systems, autonomous systems, automation, or AI/ML.
- Experience working on robotics projects, research, competitions, startups, labs, or industry initiatives is preferred.
- Robust communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with faculty, engineers, founders, researchers, and industry leaders.
- Strong ownership and ability to independently drive initiatives from idea to execution.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
