Responsibilities

About the role

This role is responsible for managing Form 5500 filings, compliance activities, and audit support for U.S. retirement plans. The incumbent will review, create, and update regulatory filings, assist auditors with IRS and DOL requirements, and support clients by addressing compliance-related queries within defined SLAs. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in retirement plans, compliance testing, or financial services operations. It also offers opportunities to develop specialized expertise and take on more complex responsibilities based on performance.

Responsibilities

- Verify, create, modify and update clients form 5500 filing and provide support to Auditors file their Audits with IRS and DOL. Employee should also be able to handle and help clients / individual customers within defined SLA




- Should have experience on Compliance, Form 5500 Filing and audits.
- Should have good written and verbal communication
- Analyze details to determine appropriate action needed in term of processing the transactions.
- Consult available resources including technical documentation, updates, computer system application features, coworkers and Mentors to perform daily task. Make suggestions for improvement in procedures/processes
- Efficiently and effectively process work to meet or exceed production expectations
- Perform assigned work accurately to meet or exceed quality expectations that results in increased client satisfaction and profitability for PFG
- Improve personal effectiveness that positively impacts work, setting and enhancement of skills
- Develop partnerships among peers and those supported to increase ownership of work and sustain an efficient process
- Compliance to PGS policies and Flexibility as per business needs
- Perform other job related duties, other processes within the BU or special projects as required or as assigned by superior
- Should be willing to work from office.

Qualifications

Requirements

- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
- Candidate preferred with Retirement domain and 5500 filings/compliance Testing experience.
- Should have researching skills, eye to detail and knowledge about the retirement products.
- Should be able to manage client’s question and help them submit compliance testing questioner.
- Should have good written and verbal communication.
- Working knowledge on MS Office tools, specifically MS Excel.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in back office. Insurance, Retirement plan and Financial Institution experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Critical thinking, Analytical and problem-Solving skills, Willingness to work in shifts.

Abilities

- Solid Working knowledge on MS Office tools specifically Advance MS Excel.
- Minimum of 1-5 years experience in back office. Insurance and Financial Institution experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills , Analytical skills, Willingness to work in shifts.
