Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Industry Consulting Snr. Consultant to join our team in Noida / Gurgaon, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainable code.
- Build and enhance data pipelines and integrations (e.g., ETL/ELT jobs, batch processing, and streaming where applicable) with explicit documentation.
- Design, implement, and maintain workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow (DAGs, scheduling, dependencies, retries, and backfills).
- Write unit/integration tests, support automated CI checks, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards.
- Optimize application and pipeline performance by profiling, improving algorithms/data access patterns, and addressing bottlenecks (latency, throughput, resource usage).
- Work with version control (e.g., Git) to manage changes, branching strategies, and release readiness.
- Troubleshoot production issues, investigate root cause, and implement preventive fixes with appropriate logging and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and deliver incremental improvements.
- Maintain secure coding practices, handle secrets safely, and ensure compliance with internal security standards.
- Document systems, APIs, operational runbooks,



and Airflow job details so solutions are supportable by the wider team.

Requirements
- Strong Python fundamentals (data structures, OOP, concurrency concepts, error handling) and practical experience building production services and/or data pipelines.
- Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask (or comparable) and building RESTful APIs (if applicable to the role).
- Proficiency with SQL and working knowledge of relational databases; ability to design efficient queries and data models.
- Testing proficiency using pytest/unittest (or equivalent) and familiarity with test-supported development practices.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow: building DAGs, managing task dependencies, configuring scheduling, retries, and performing backfills.
- Familiarity with data tooling (e.g., pandas and/or Spark) and ability to integrate with common data sources/targets.
- Working knowledge of cloud and deployment workflows (e.g., Docker and CI/CD; familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP environments).
- Understanding of software engineering best practices: code reviews, maintainable architecture, logging/metrics, and clean documentation.
- Version control proficiency (Git) and comfort working in collaborative development environments.
- Knowledge of secure development practices (authn/authz basics, input validation, dependency hygiene).
- Ability to debug issues using logs/metrics, reason about system behaviour, and communicate clearly about technical trade-offs
