Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team. The intern will gain practical exposure to hospital pharmacy operations, medication management, inventory processes, and patient-care support while working under the supervision of qualified pharmacy professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing and preparing medications as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining accurate medication records and documentation.
- Assist in receiving, storing, arranging, and issuing medicines and other pharmacy products.
- Monitor medicine stock, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
- Support inventory management and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Assist with medication labelling, packaging, and distribution under supervision.
- Coordinate with nursing and clinical teams regarding medication-related requirements.
- Follow hospital policies,



pharmacy SOPs, and medication safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of medicines in the pharmacy.
- Assist in maintaining records related to controlled drugs and other regulated medications, as applicable.
- Observe and learn hospital pharmacy practices, including medication safety and patient-care processes.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by the reporting pharmacist.

Eligibility

- Qualification: B.Pharm / Pharm.D student or graduate, as applicable.
- Freshers and candidates seeking hospital pharmacy internship exposure may apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and pharmacy practices.
- Willingness to learn and work in a hospital setting.
