We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of BIM/CAD / Digital Engineering & Information Coordinator in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Our client is a reputed organization in the power transmission and grid infrastructure engineering sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals. Key Responsibilities

- Establish and maintain project CAD/BIM standards, templates, coordinates, file structures, naming conventions, metadata and issue workflows.
- Develop and coordinate multidisciplinary 2D drawings and 3D models covering electrical, civil, structural, cable and building disciplines.
- Federate discipline models and conduct clash and coordination reviews using Navisworks Manage or equivalent platforms.
- Track coordination actions and verify closure of identified issues before formal model or drawing issue.
- Manage model exchanges, CDE workflows, revision/status codes, deliverable registers and transmittal readiness.
- Perform detailed model and drawing QA covering layers, levels, annotations, references, coordinates, title blocks, revisions, file health and graphical consistency.
- Support information requirements, model production/delivery planning, responsibility matrices, design reviews and asset-information handover.
- Automate repeatable quality checks and reporting where practical while maintaining appropriate traceability and approval controls.

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates must have 610 years of relevant skilled experience with substantial hands-on responsibility for CAD/BIM or digital engineering deliverables. Experience must include high-voltage power, transmission, substations, utilities, or directly comparable critical infrastructure. Candidates should demonstrate personally coordinated engineering models/drawings rather than architectural visualisation alone.

Education

- Minimum: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Construction Technology or related discipline
- Preferred: Recognised BIM/CAD training
- Additional: Relevant software/platform certifications advantageous
