The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber financial leader to oversee end-to-end financial operations and human capital management for a premium multi-location dental group in the US. This is a high-visibility, dual-function role responsible for $14M+ in annual revenue.
I. Financial Controllership & Revenue Management
- Provider Compensation: Execute complex monthly commission calculations and "true-ups" for doctors and hygienists; manage hygiene/doctor allowances and expense reimbursements.
- Revenue Oversight: Daily/weekly management of ACH reports, EFT transfers, and bank reconciliations for all entities.
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage AP/AR, categorize credit card transactions (Amex/Chase), and perform monthly/quarterly practice valuations.
- Financial Reporting: Generate monthly P&Ls; and Balance Sheets; track marketing ROI by vendor/location; prepare year-end reports for external CPA tax filings.
- Compliance: Manage US 1099 filings, entity renewals (ilsos.gov), and maintain legal/equipment documentation.
II. Human Resources & US Payroll Administration
- Payroll Processing: Execute semi-monthly US payroll via ADP, including adjustments, 401k contributions, and payroll journal entries.
- Talent Management: Oversee the digital onboarding/offboarding lifecycle and track salary increases and PTO accruals.
- Advantages & Compliance: Lead annual benefit enrollments (Medical, Life, Vision,
401k); manage Workers' Comp claims and US insurance audits (Malpractice/General Liability).
- Employee Relations: Revise bonus structures, maintain employee handbooks, and support US-based Office Managers with HR queries.
III. Client Relationship & Strategic Operations
- Client Success: Act as the direct point of contact for US dental practice owners; lead monthly financial review calls and address billing/commission inquiries with executive poise.
- Ops Support: Manage corporate accounts (T-Mobile, ADT, Amazon procurement) and coordinate with US Office Managers for administrative approvals.
Qualifications
- Education: MBA in Finance/CA or other related finance degree from a reputed institution.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in US-facing financial operations or a "Shared Services" environment. Experience in the US Dental/Medical industry is a significant advantage.
- Communication: Exceptional English fluency (written and verbal) with the "executive presence" required to manage US-based Doctors and business owners.
- Technical Skills: * Expert-level Excel: Mandatory for complex "true-up" modeling.
- US Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, ADP, and Dental Practice Management Software (e.g., Dentrix Ascend).
- Adaptability: Proven track record of working Fixed US Night Shifts (6:30 PM 3:30 AM IST) and managing the associated lifestyle requirements.
- Attributes: High emotional intelligence, extreme attention to detail, and a "founders mindset" toward building new processes.
