Role Summary

As a network /Security engineer, you provide advanced technical support for network & security related issues. This role requires in-depth knowledge of network infrastructure security troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. The L2 Network Engineer will work closely with customer to Implement new projects requirement, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network problems.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for network-related issues, including but not limited to:
- Routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, VLANs)
- Network security (firewalls, VPNs)( Fortigate,Cisco,Sonicwall,Palo Alto,Fortimail)
- Network performance monitoring and optimization (SolarWinds , Cisco Prime, WhatsApp Gold)
- LAN/WAN connectivity issues
- Implement enterprise communication systems Cisco /AVAYA (VoIP, video conferencing, collaboration tools).
- Design and implement robust LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. (Cisco, ARUBA, Huawei, Juniper)
- Design and implement NGFW including Palo Alto, Checkpoint, SonicWall & Fortinet Firewalls.
- Design and implementation of Aruba ClearPass and Cisco ISE.
- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and expansion activities with minimal downtime.
- Simulate critical scenarios in test labs for problem-solving and compatibility checks.
- Configure and support WAF, Load Balance, Email Security and WSA.
- Implement security protocols, network segmentation, and policy-based routing (PBR).




- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems through remote access tools and onsite
- Escalate critical issues to higher-level support when necessary.
- Document and track incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Maintain and update knowledge base articles and FAQs.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
- Prepare all project related documentation (HDL/LLD/Scope of work /Signoff ).
- Provide Pre-sale assistance to sales team as when necessary.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to acquire all related certification and hands on experience.
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Any Desk).

Preferred Qualifications

- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.

- Cisco CCNP Enterprise - Certification and get trained
- Aruba NAC Clear Pass - Certification and get trained
- Palo Alto - PC NSA - Certification and get trained
- sonic wall Firewall - Certification and get trained
- Forti mail, and FortiGate Firewall - Certification and get trained.
