We are looking for an experienced CDGC Lead to drive implementation and adoption of Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC) solutions across enterprise data environments.

Role Overview

The CDGC Lead will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, configuration, integration, and rollout of Informatica CDGC solutions. The role requires strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, data quality, and Informatica IDMC.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable governance and catalog solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Informatica CDGC implementation, configuration, and rollout for enterprise customers.
- Define and implement data governance and metadata management strategies using Informatica IDMC/CDGC.
- Configure and manage cataloging, data discovery, business glossary, data lineage, data classification, and data stewardship capabilities.
- Analyze enterprise data sources and onboard them into CDGC using appropriate metadata ingestion mechanisms.
- Design and implement metadata ingestion and harvesting from databases, applications, cloud platforms, BI tools, data warehouses, and other enterprise sources.
- Establish and manage technical and business metadata, including business terms, policies, data elements, relationships, and ownership.
- Implement and maintain end-to-end data lineage across source systems, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
- Integrate CDGC with other Informatica IDMC services, particularly Data Quality, Data Integration, and Data Access / API capabilities where applicable.
- Work with stakeholders to define data governance operating models, stewardship processes, roles, responsibilities,



and workflows.
- Lead requirement gathering, solution design, technical discussions, estimation, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Provide technical leadership to developers and consultants and conduct design/code/configuration reviews.
- Troubleshoot metadata ingestion, cataloging, lineage, connectivity, and integration issues.
- Support development of reusable frameworks, accelerators, standards, and best practices for CDGC implementations.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, solution designs, configuration documents, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Participate in customer workshops and provide recommendations on data governance and catalog strategy.
- Stay current with Informatica IDMC/CDGC product capabilities, releases, and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

- Solid hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC).
- Strong understanding of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

- Experience with metadata ingestion and connectivity across enterprise data sources.
- Good understanding of Informatica Data Quality (IDQ/CDQ) and its integration with governance and catalog capabilities.
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts, ETL/ELT processes, relational databases, SQL, and data warehouses.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
- Understanding of BI/reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is desirable.
- Knowledge of APIs and integration concepts is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze technical metadata and understand relationships between source, transformation, target,



and reporting layers.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in enterprise data governance implementations.
- Experience defining data governance frameworks and operating models.
- Experience integrating CDGC with multiple enterprise technologies and data ecosystems.
- Exposure to data privacy, PII/sensitive data classification, compliance, and regulatory data governance.
- Experience with Informatica Axon or migration from traditional governance/catalog platforms to IDMC/CDGC is a strong plus.
- Experience in Informatica PowerCenter, IICS/IDMC, CDI, CDQ, Axon, or EDC is preferred.
- Experience in leading offshore/onshore teams and working directly with global customers.
- Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelors or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, data management, or a related discipline.
