Role & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Cypress with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and Selenium.
- Build reusable automation components using Page Object Model (POM) and framework best practices.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
- Develop and execute API automation using REST APIs, Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Integrate automation suites with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Analyze automation failures, perform debugging and root-cause analysis, and improve test stability.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Participate in test planning, execution, defect management, release validation, and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain test scripts, reusable utilities, test data, and automation documentation.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, framework maintainability, and regression cycle time.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 46 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles.




- Solid hands-on experience with Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Strong experience in automation framework development, preferably using POM.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Strong understanding of API Testing / API Automation using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
- Practical experience integrating automation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Good programming and scripting skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD practices.
- Good understanding of BDD/Cucumber, Mocha/TestNG is preferred.
- Experience with SQL/database validation is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS/Azure, JMeter or k6 will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, defect lifecycle, and test automation best practices.
- Should be able to independently design, develop, debug, and enhance automation frameworks, rather than only execute existing scripts.
- Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
