Contract Opportunity

Role Overview

- We are looking for a Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master with strong experience driving delivery of cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or related technical programmes.
- This is not a pure Scrum Master role focused only on facilitating ceremonies and process adherence.
- The ideal candidate will combine strong Scrum Master fundamentals with hands-on project/delivery management experience, taking ownership of planning, execution, dependencies, risks, blockers, stakeholder management and delivery outcomes.
- Candidates should have experience working with technical engineering teams across cloud, infrastructure, application, platform and security environments.
- A Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM will be preferred as a starting point, with the expectation that candidates can demonstrate practical application of Agile/Scrum principles.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment involving vulnerability remediation, security, infrastructure and cross-functional technical delivery.

Team Mission

- Drive coordinated delivery of vulnerability remediation activities across multiple technical tracks.
- Ensure remediation work is planned, prioritised,

tracked and delivered within agreed timelines and SLA/OLA expectations.
- Bring application, infrastructure, cloud, security, platform and external support teams onto a common delivery plan.
- Provide clear visibility into progress, dependencies, risks, blockers, forecasts and delivery outcomes.
- Establish disciplined Agile delivery practices while maintaining a strong focus on actual project execution and closure.

What You Will Do

- Own the day-to-day delivery execution of the vulnerability management programme across multiple technical tracks.
- Maintain detailed delivery plans, sprint schedules, milestones and dependency maps.
- Break vulnerability/remediation backlogs into actionable work packages with explicit owners, priorities, timelines and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Track sprint commitments, throughput, burndown, backlog ageing and SLA/OLA attainment.
- Forecast delivery timelines and proactively identify and escalate potential slippage.
- Manage cross-team dependencies involving application, cloud, infrastructure, platform, OS, cybersecurity, DevSecOps and external service providers.
- Coordinate access, environment readiness, change windows, approvals and other prerequisites required for remediation activities.
- Maintain and actively manage RAID logs, driving risks, issues, actions and dependencies through to closure.
- Coordinate execution between internal engineering teams, security teams, MSP/support teams and development teams.
- Ensure vulnerability closures follow the appropriate testing, re-scan, validation and evidence process before being marked complete.
- Monitor leading and lagging delivery indicators and provide accurate status and forecast information.
- Prepare concise, outcome-focused reporting and dashboards for programme and technical leadership.
- Support onboarding, tooling access and operating cadence for new team members.
- Continuously improve delivery processes, Agile practices and mechanisms for identifying and removing delivery blockers.

Required Qualifications

- 9+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in technical project management, programme delivery or delivery management.
- Strong experience delivering cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security remediation or other technically complex IT programmes.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager or equivalent, with responsibility for actual delivery outcomes.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile fundamentals, including roles, ceremonies, events, artefacts, backlog management, sprint planning, estimation, impediment management and continuous improvement.
- Ability to answer and apply core Scrum Master and Agile concepts in practical delivery situations.
- Experience managing technical teams and cross-functional dependencies across application, infrastructure, cloud, platform and security functions.
- Strong experience with backlog, sprint, milestone, dependency, risk and issue management.
- Working knowledge of vulnerability management lifecycle, security remediation and secure SDLC practices.
- Experience tracking SLA/OLA, delivery KPIs, throughput, backlog ageing, burndown and delivery forecasts.
- Experience with delivery and workflow tools such as Jira, ServiceNow and reporting/dashboard platforms.
- Solid stakeholder management, communication, escalation and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work with technical teams and translate complex technical delivery information into clear updates for leadership.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to identify blockers and actively drive them to resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

- CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP or equivalent Scrum/Agile certification.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Prior experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or Project Manager in cybersecurity, cloud or infrastructure programmes.
- Experience managing vulnerability remediation programmes, remediation factories or security war rooms.
- Exposure to vulnerability management platforms such as Seemplicity, Qualys, Wiz, Checkmarx or equivalent tools.
- ServiceNow and CMDB delivery experience.
- Experience working with regulated enterprise environments and formal technical documentation.
- Experience coordinating delivery through external MSP/service-provider teams.
