Job Summary-
We are looking for a detail-oriented Executive Finance (TDS Compliance) to support TDS-related statutory compliance and finance operations. The role involves accurate TDS deduction, timely deposit, return filing, reconciliations, and maintaining compliance with Income Tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate and deduct TDS on salaries, vendor payments, professional fees, rent, contractor payments, and other applicable transactions.
- Ensure timely deposit of TDS as per statutory due dates.
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, etc.).
- Process correction/revised TDS returns whenever required.
- Generate and issue TDS certificates (Form 16 and Form 16A).
- Reconcile TDS deducted with books of accounts, Form 26AS, and TRACES.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly TDS reports.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documents for audits and compliance.
- Stay updated with changes in TDS provisions and ensure timely implementation.
- Assist in responding to TDS notices and queries from the Income Tax Department.
- Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and consultants to resolve TDS-related matters.
- Support statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in TDS compliance and finance operations.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of the Income Tax Portal, TRACES, Computax, and ERP/Accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Valuable understanding of TDS provisions under the Income Tax Act.
