Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Developer to design, develop, customize, and support IBM Sterling Order Management solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Sterling OMS architecture, development, integrations, and order fulfillment processes. [ibm.com], [ibm.com]

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement solutions using IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS). [ibm.com]
- Configure and customize Sterling OMS business processes, pipelines, and services. [ibm.com]
- Develop and enhance APIs, user exits, agents, and integrations. [ibm.com], [developer.ibm.com]
- Integrate Sterling OMS with ERP, WMS, CRM, eCommerce, and third-party applications. [ibm.com], [developer.ibm.com]
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support. [developer.ibm.com]
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling OMS development. [ibm.com]
- Strong understanding of:




- Order Lifecycle Management
- Distributed Order Management (DOM)
- Inventory Management
- Order Fulfillment & Returns Management [ibm.com], [ibm.com]

- Experience in:

- Sterling APIs & Services
- User Exits and Agents
- XAPI, YIF APIs
- JMS, MQ, REST/SOAP Web Services [developer.ibm.com], [ibm.com]

- Strong Java/J2EE development skills.
- Experience with XML, XSLT, SQL, Oracle/DB2.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Sterling Call Center, Store Engagement, or Intelligent Promising. [ibm.com]
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- IBM Sterling OMS certification is an added advantage.
