Role & responsibilities

The MEP Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for cleanroom projects at the Mahadeva Kodigehalli site. This full-time, on-site role involves reviewing engineering drawings, preparing technical documentation, supporting design development, and ensuring that MEP installations comply with standards, codes, and project specifications. The engineer will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, and vendors to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain quality, safety, and cost control. Day-to-day activities include conducting site inspections, tracking material and resource requirements, assisting with commissioning and testing, and preparing progress reports and updates for stakeholders. The role also requires coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and support timely project completion.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration in building or cleanroom projects.
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering concepts, including HVAC, ventilation, and utility distribution.
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering, including power distribution, lighting, controls, and safety systems.
- Understanding of Plumbing systems, including piping layouts, water supply, drainage, and related standards.




- Project Management skills, including scheduling, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Creating and reviewing itemized lists of materials (BOQ), labor, and equipment for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting installations.
- Experience in cleanroom, pharmaceutical, industrial, or commercial building projects is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and relevant codes and standards.
- Creating and reviewing itemized lists (BOQ) of materials, labor, and equipment for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in office, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to project requirements and timelines.

- Prepare detailed design calculations for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Develop and maintain accurate drawings using AutoCAD software.

- Collaborate with other engineers to ensure coordination between MEP disciplines.

- Conduct site visits to inspect installations and troubleshoot issues related to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

- Provide technical support during construction phases of projects.
