Position Name: Sr. Officer - Production (Plate Generation)

Function: Plate Generation Operations

Shift: Rotational Shifts

Responsibilities

- Execute plate generation operations during the assigned shift to achieve production targets.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements and process specifications.
- Supervise operators and contract manpower deployed in the section.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain shift-wise production records and process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, ISO, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in productivity, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
- Support training and skill development of operators and technicians.

Qualifications / Personal Attributes

- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.




- 3-6 years of experience in battery manufacturing, plate generation, or similar process manufacturing operations.
- Positive understanding of plate generation processes, process control, and production operations.
- Knowledge of manpower management and shop floor coordination.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
- Basic knowledge of quality systems, EHS standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
