- Role Overview
- We are seeking a hands-on, proactive HR Generalist to build and manage our end-to-end HR operations, talent acquisition, and employee engagement from the ground up. Working directly with the founding team, you will establish basic HR infrastructure, drive hiring, and build a strong startup culture.
- Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Own full-cycle recruitment—source, screen, schedule, and offer candidates using direct channels (LinkedIn, networks) with zero reliance on external agencies.
- Onboarding & Operations: Design a seamless onboarding experience for new hires; manage employee records, attendance, and leave management.
- Payroll & Compliance Coordination: Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, handle documentation, and ensure basic statutory compliance.
- Culture & Policy Development: Draft essential company policies (leave policy, code of conduct, POSH)

- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries, performance check-ins, and team engagement initiatives.
- Requirements
- 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role (prior startup experience preferred).
- Proven track record of direct sourcing and hiring across technical or non-technical roles.
- Basic working knowledge of labor laws, offer structures, and payroll processing.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency in Telugu is a plus).
- High degree of emotional intelligence, discretion, and problem-solving capability.
