1. Job SummaryWe are looking for a technically strong VMware VDI Deployment & Troubleshooting Engineer with hands-on experience in VMware Horizon, VMware vSphere, and cloud environments.The engineer will be responsible for customer deployments, configuration, troubleshooting, migration, upgrades, and post-deployment support of VMware VDI environments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and on-premises/cloud infrastructure.The ideal candidate should have strong VMware Horizon expertise along with working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Linux, Nutanix, Azure, and AWS.2. Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot VMware Horizon VDI environments.
- Perform end-to-end VDI implementation activities from design validation through production handover.
- Deploy and configure Horizon Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateway (UAG), App Volumes, and Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM).
- Configure and manage Instant Clone and desktop pools.
- Deploy and manage VMware virtual machines using vCenter and ESXi.
- Troubleshoot VDI login, authentication, connectivity, application, profile, performance, and desktop provisioning issues.
- Perform VMware Horizon upgrades, migrations, patching, and health checks.
- Deploy and troubleshoot VDI environments hosted on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Work with customer teams to troubleshoot cloud networking and connectivity issues.
- Support integration with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and authentication services.
- Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting and coordinate with OEM/vendor support where required.
- Participate in customer implementation calls, technical discussions, and deployment activities.
- Prepare implementation documents, configuration documents, troubleshooting reports, and knowledge-transfer documentation.




- Provide post-deployment support and assist in resolving production issues.

6. Experience Requirements

- 3–6 years of overall IT infrastructure experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on VMware Horizon/VDI experience.
- Proven experience in VDI deployment and troubleshooting.
- Experience working on Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
- Experience handling customer-facing implementation and troubleshooting activities.
- Ability to independently handle L2/L3 technical issues.

7. Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should be:

- Strong in VMware Horizon VDI deployment and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working on cloud-based infrastructure.
- Able to independently perform customer deployments and technical troubleshooting.
- Customer-facing and capable of communicating technical issues clearly.
- Strong in problem analysis and root-cause identification.
- Willing to work on-site at customer locations when required.
- Comfortable working across VMware, Microsoft, Linux, networking, Nutanix, Azure, and AWS environments.

8. Key Focus of the RoleThe primary focus of this position is:VMware Horizon VDI Deployment Cloud Integration Configuration Troubleshooting Customer Handover Post-Deployment SupportVMware Horizon/VDI expertise is mandatory. Azure, AWS, Microsoft, Linux, Nutanix, and networking knowledge will enable the engineer to independently troubleshoot the wider infrastructure supporting the VDI setting.
