Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Lead React Native Engineer to own the architecture, technical direction, and delivery of our cross-platform mobile applications. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has spent years deep in production React Native codebases.

- Own end-to-end mobile architecture across iOS and Android, from technical roadmap to production release.
- Lead migration to and ongoing development on React Native's New Architecture (JSI, Fabric, TurboModules, Hermes).
- Design and build custom native modules bridging JavaScript with native Kotlin/Swift code.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and release (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
- Drive performance optimization across rendering, memory, bundle size, and startup time.
- Manage Play Store and App Store release cycles, including versioning, compliance, and rollout strategy.
- Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and set technical standards across the mobile team.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA to deliver large-scale, production-grade mobile applications.

Preferred candidate profile

Must-Have Requirements:

- 6+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on React Native development in production apps.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
- Solid experience with Redux and Redux Saga for state management.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with React Native's New Architecture (JSI,



Fabric, TurboModules, Hermes).
- Proven native module development experience.
- Working proficiency in Kotlin and/or Swift.
- Experience with React Native CLI (bare workflow), not limited to Expo-managed apps.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar).
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with tools like Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.
- Track record of performance optimization in production mobile apps.
- Experience managing Play Store and App Store release processes end-to-end.
- Demonstrated technical leadership: code reviews, mentoring, and driving engineering standards.
- Experience building and scaling large, production mobile applications used by real users at scale.
- - Good to Have:
- Experience at a product-based company (not purely service/consulting).
- Domain experience in FinTech, SaaS, E-commerce, or Healthcare.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
- - What We're Looking For: We're being selective for this role - genuine, sustained hands-on React Native depth matters more than breadth across many frameworks. Candidates should be able to speak in detail about real production challenges they've solved: native bridging, Recent Architecture migrations, performance bottlenecks, and release management at scale.
