Dharitri Infraventure Pvt. Ltd., a growing real estate company based in Kolkata, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Accounts & Finance team.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime, Advanced Excel, GST, TDS, ROC compliance, banking transactions, reconciliation and final accounts, preferably with experience in the real estate industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting and financial records.
- Handle accounting entries and transactions in Tally Prime.
- Prepare and maintain Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a daily basis.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers and supporting documents.
- Handle TDS calculation, returns and related compliance.
- Handle GST-related accounting, reconciliation and compliance.
- Assist with ROC and other statutory compliance.
- Ensure timely compliance with Direct and Indirect Taxes.
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports.
- Assist in preparation of final accounts.
- Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
- Assist in budgeting, fund-flow management and cash-flow forecasting.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receipts.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Coordinate with internal departments, banks, vendors and consultants whenever required.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned accounting activities.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Practical knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Knowledge of ROC compliance.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience in bank reconciliation and finalization of accounts.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.Com / M.Com with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Candidates with experience in the Real Estate / Construction industry will be preferred.
- Must have hands-on experience in accounting and statutory compliance.
- Candidates who can independently handle day-to-day accounting operations will be preferred.
