Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer – IBM Integration / API Management with strong hands-on expertise in IBM DataPower, IBM API Connect (APIC), and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE). The candidate will be responsible for API development, integration, governance, security, production support, troubleshooting, and enterprise integration frameworks.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in IBM DataPower and its advanced functionalities
- Strong expertise in IBM API Connect (APIC) including API lifecycle management and version compatibility
- Solid knowledge of IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise), preferably on containers
- Hands-on experience with API Gateway, MPGW Gateway Script and XSLT
- Experience developing and maintaining UDPs, policies and reusable generic functionalities
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP architectures and JSON XML transformations
- Strong Java knowledge, including cryptography and CRUD operations
- Experience with IBM CP4I and OpenShift
- Experience with integrations such as IBM MQ, Vault and ELK
- Experience in APIC Developer Portal administration, applications, subscriptions and custom configurations
- Experience troubleshooting production and product-level issues
- Strong understanding of API governance, security and lifecycle management

Certification – Mandatory





Candidate must hold any one of the following IBM certifications:

- IBM Certified Developer – ACE
- IBM Certified Solution Implementer – API Connect
- IBM Certified Solution Implementer – DataPower

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain APIs, integration frameworks and generic functionalities.
- Develop and maintain API Gateway and DataPower solutions.
- Work on MPGW, GatewayScript, XSLT, UDPs and API policies.
- Manage API/product lifecycle states including published, deprecated and retired.
- Administer the IBM APIC Developer Portal, including application creation, subscriptions and custom configurations.
- Develop and support REST/SOAP integrations and message transformations.
- Work with ACE, CP4I and OpenShift for containerized deployments and integrations.
- Integrate enterprise platforms such as MQ, Vault and ELK.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and product-level issues.
- Define and support API governance in line with enterprise standards and industry best practices.
- Gather and analyze requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities identified through VA/PT, IS and regulatory audits.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
- Perform unit testing and provide test results as part of release documentation.
- Maintain requirement traceability and support audit readiness.

Education

- B.E./B.Tech in any discipline, or
- M.Sc. (IT) / MCA
- Qualification should be from a recognized college/university approved by AICTE.
