Hybrid Cloud Architect - Manager

Job Description

The role of Hybrid Cloud Architect is a manager level role and involves the following roles and responsibilities:

- Design and implement hybrid cloud architecture integrating on-prem Data Centre and public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments
- Define and execute infrastructure migration strategies including DC to Cloud and Cloud to Cloud transformation (rehost, replatform, refactor etc)
- Lead cloud advisory engagements, defining cloud adoption roadmap, landing zone architecture, governance and operating model
- Provide infrastructure assessment, transformation roadmap and modernization strategy across computing, storage, network and backup environments
- Drive client workshops and discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable hybrid cloud solutions
- Act as a pre-sales architect, supporting RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, effort estimation and client presentations
- Ensure architecture governance, performance optimization, security and compliance across hybrid cloud environments
- Design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions aligned with enterprise objectives
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure solution alignment and successful execution of cloud transformation projects
- Provide guidance on cloud cost optimization (FinOps), automation, and infrastructure as code practices
- Stay updated with evolving cloud technologies and contribute to thought leadership and best practices development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including platform, security and application teams




- Identify opportunities for infrastructure optimization and process improvements

Desired Profile
- 10+ years of total experience in IT infrastructure with strong focus on hybrid cloud architecture and transformation
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, migration, and consulting engagements
- Strong experience in Data Centre infrastructure (compute, storage, backup, virtualization)
- Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proven experience in DC to Cloud and Cloud to Cloud migration programs
- Exposure to pre-sales, solutioning, and RFP responses
- Strong understanding of cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with landing zone design, multi-cloud strategy, and hybrid connectivity
- Working knowledge of automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM, CloudFormation)
- Strong client engagement, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions with enterprise and CXO-level stakeholders

Experience
- 10 to 14 years

Education
- B.Tech. / BS in Computer Science

Technical Skills & Certifications Relevant Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Azure Solutions Architect / GCP Professional Cloud Architect (any one preferred)
- Certifications in cloud security, networking or DevOps (good to have)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes / OpenShift / container platforms (positive to have)
