Python Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Python programming, SQL, databases, Linux, testing, debugging, and automation. The candidate should be capable of independently developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining applications in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Python.
- Work with Sybase and SQL databases.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, joins, filtering, and database logic.
- Understand, develop, use, and modify Stored Procedures.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing.
- Debug scripts and applications, including troubleshooting from the Linux command line in production environments.
- Analyze technical issues independently and provide effective solutions with minimal supervision.
- Work in Linux/Unix environments and use command-line tools.
- Implement automation using Ansible where required.
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.





Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience
- Solid knowledge of Python programming and scripting.
- Good understanding of SQL and Sybase.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Joins, Filtering, Queries, and Database concepts.
- Experience with Stored Procedures.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in writing Unit and Integration Tests.
- Good Linux/Unix command-line skills.
- Strong problem-solving and independent thinking abilities.

Good to Have

- Experience with Ansible / Automation.
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies.
- Experience with Agentic AI / AI Agents will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming and problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with SQL/Sybase databases, excellent debugging abilities, and experience working in Linux production environments and Gen AI too. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and handling complex technical issues.
