Job Purpose:

To ensure the quality of raw, process, and treated water by conducting chemical analysis, monitoring water treatment processes, maintaining laboratory records, and ensuring compliance with statutory, environmental, and organizational water quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and analyze raw, treated, cooling, boiler, DM, condensate, and wastewater samples.
- Perform routine laboratory tests including pH, conductivity, turbidity, TDS, hardness, TSS, alkalinity, chloride, sulphate, silica, residual chlorine, dissolved oxygen, and iron.
- Monitor treatment efficiency and recommend corrective actions.
- Support process troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives for cooling tower, pretreatment, post treatment, chlorination, softening, RO, UF, and DM operations.




- Maintain laboratory instruments and calibration records.
- Maintain chemical inventory and laboratory consumables.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly water quality reports.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards.

Educational Qualification:

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Industrial Chemistry, or related field. Water Treatment certification is advantage.

Experience:

13 years of experience in WTP/ETP/STP, Power, Steel, Cement, or Process Industries.

Required Skills:

Water chemistry, laboratory analysis, RO/UF/DM systems, environmental compliance, reporting, troubleshooting, and MS Excel.
