Must-Have Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related roles, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Robust hands-on experience with AWS data services, including S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, DMS, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, and KMS.
- Proven experience delivering at least two large-scale data platform implementations, supporting 50+ users, 10+ source integrations, and TB-scale data volumes.
- Deep expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, and data modeling, including Data Vault, star schema, and bi-temporal modeling.
- Experience with ETL/ELT orchestration and transformation tools such as dbt, Apache Airflow/MWAA, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Ability to create solution architecture documents, technical proposals, effort estimates, and cost estimates.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,



with the ability to lead client-facing discussions and presentations for senior leadership.

Good to Have

- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries, with exposure to RBI guidelines, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to AI/ML platforms, including Amazon SageMaker, MLOps, Feature Stores, GenAI, Amazon Bedrock, or RAG architectures.
- Snowflake certifications, such as SnowPro Advanced: Architect or Data Engineer.
- AWS certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Data Analytics Specialty.
- Experience with enterprise BI and analytics platforms such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD for data pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Experience with large-scale historical data migration, source-to-target mapping, and data reconciliation.
