We are seeking an experienced Automation Lead with a strong background in Cucumber and a passion for the travel domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading automation testing efforts, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and mentoring junior team members. This role requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks and a commitment to continuous improvement in testing processes.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the automation testing efforts using Cucumber, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for travel domain applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand application functionalities.
- Mentor and guide junior automation testers in best practices and testing methodologies.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation testing.

Mandatory Skills:





- Proven experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Solid knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools.
- Experience in the travel domain is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Ruby, or Python.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on Cucumber.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
